Yes believe it or not, not everything cool on the web comes from the Silicon Valley. We are a small privately held company located in Covington, KY, just south of a place you may be more familiar with... Cincinnati Ohio.
 



Our photo addiction.
FotoFlix, Inc was founded in July of 2003 for photo enthusiasts by photo enthusiasts. Today that photo addiction is still burning and our innovative wheels are still churning.

We've received the Macromedia site of the day in 2005 and just recently received Adobe's site of the day!
 

How it started.
The idea for FotoFlix, Inc started in 2002 when we began to look for a good way to share and manage our photos online.  After weeks of searching without finding a good solution to our problem, we decided to turn our disappointment into innovation.  Our vision was to create a photo management and photo presentation service that would be easy to use and allow people to tell their story with their photos. Almost 4 years later we are proudly doing what we envisioned and much more! Today we have one the most powerful and user friendly product offerings on the web.
 


Why the name photagious?
Some of our early users knew us only as FotoFlix.com. In August of 2006 we launched our most recent version called photagious. The name photagious embodies the spirit of our product offering. Photagious customers can quickly manage and share their photos, make a slideshow in 2 clicks, have fun with photos like never before and have unlimited storage to do so. When you combine all these services with an innovative tool set that is always at your finger tips, you'll find out quickly why we say your photo addiction starts here.

The Team
Jonathan Vreeland – CEO & Founder
Jonathan has nearly 2000 photos in his photagious account. He has over eight years of experience in the Internet business, Jonathan is a prominent web designer and flash developer. Prior to founding FotoFlix, Inc Jonathan owned and operated a successful design studio. Some of his clients included Carson Daly, Cybex, Clear Channel, Jim Rome, Ryan Seacrest, Donald Trump and Microsoft, among many others. Jonathan graduated from Thomas More College in 1997 with BA in art. What he enjoys most about Photagious is creating flash themes with animation. Click here to view Jonanthan's blog.

Jaisen Mathai – CTO
Jaisen has over 2000 photos in his Photagious account and holds this over Jonathan's head on a daily basis. Jaisen has more than eight years of experience working with technology. Before co-founding FotoFlix he worked at ClearChannel and General Motors. Jaisen regularly speaks at technology conferences and writes articles which can be found in magazines and online. Kevin Hornschemeier - Lead Developer
Kevin has less than 1000 photos in his Photagious account which Jonathan and Jaisen constantly remind him of. Kevin has more than 4 years of experience doing web development. Before coming to FotoFlix he was working as a consultant while persuing his education. He recently completed his bachelors degree in computer science from Nova Southeastern University. Why is photagious a pay only service?
We love what we do and we want our customers to love our service, placing ads all around your photos and slideshows to cover our cost was not our vision.  Just like all our customers, we too use photagious to manage, archive and share our most prized photos. We are a technology business that believes in delivering a quality product and quality customer support for a great price. We want customers who care about protecting their photos, who care about how their photos are presented and who don't want inappropriate content showing up on the site that they share with family and friends.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Many Internet sites come and go hoping for a quick pay off, rest assured that we will be here in Covington Kentucky for many years to come. We are part of the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati community.
