We also added a feature that allows you to link to another slideshow automatically.  You can choose a slideshow that you want to play after the current slideshow is playing.

You may have also noticed we've added a More Slideshows button to the control bar that displays your public slideshows.  We also updated the controls to include a mute button. 

View More Slideshows]]> A better bulk uploader for everyone tag:www.photagious.com,2007:/blogs//1.99 2007-06-14T21:53:44Z 2007-06-14T22:24:23Z Jaisen http://www.photagious.com/blogs/jaisen/ We just released a new web based bulk uploader.  It is smarter, faster and does not require any heavy plugins (it uses Flash).  Just click on the "Upload Photos" link in the left navigation to get started.

The new uploader is smarter because it automatically rotates your photos if your camera supports EXIF.  This will be a big time saver for those of you who take a lot of photos.  Now, instead of waiting on Java to load or installing a desktop application you can click upload and begin immediately.

This uploader is available for both Windows and Mac users.

  1. The thumbnails of your photos now maintain their original aspect ratio.  Tall photos will appear tall and wide photos will appear wide.  Many of you have emailed us and requested for us to offer this feature.
  2. We changed how your photos are sorted.  The photos are grouped by day and the most recent day shows up first.  For any specific day the photos are sorted by first taken to last taken.  Your friends and family can browse your photos in the order that they happened.

In response to the feedback we received we have changed the registration process to no longer require a credit card.  We hope this makes it easier for others to kick our tires before making any decisions.

If there's any family or friends that you have who haven't already fell in love with Photagious then now's a great time to tell them about it.

It's easy to do.  Click on the personal page link in the left navigation and enter the email addresses of anyone you would like to receive an email when you update your personal page. Click on save settings and you're all done.  Click here to learn more.
